ABSTRACT
Pregnant women and new mothers seek health and fitness information to inform their decision and attention to medical aid. This study identifies elements influencing maternal health and fitness information-seeking behavior in persuasive design strategies. A systematic review of existing literature on persuasive design, health communication, and maternal health was conducted. It revealed that personal, psychological, social, technological and design factors impact information-seeking behavior. Understanding these elements is crucial for designing effective persuasive strategies that promote informed decision-making and healthy behaviors. This study informs the development of targeted intervention that carter to the unique needs and preferences of pregnant women and new mothers, ultimately promoting better health outcomes.
